A sleigh ride that is, back to Christmas of 2020.
Okay yes it may not have been the BEST Christmas. After all most of us were cooped up in our homes to avoid that which will not be named. But even through all that, we were gifted with some incredible Christmas music. The likes of which would help to see us through the rough time. One in particular song that comes to mind is Ugly Sweater Time released by a trio name The Sweaterettes a jolly throw back to the Christmas dances of the 1960s.
Whether your sweater is a tacky hand-me-down
Or if you picked it up from the Goodwill shop downtown

And everyone is dressed festive and bright, alright
'Cause my Ugly Sweater Party is tonight
We were lucky enough to have been sent the song not after it was released, and have been dancing to it ever since! However something was missing, after all how can you really dance to a 1960s style song without the hum of a needle on a record player? The powers that be heard our cry and answered!

If you are local (or just visiting) to Manhattan, New York, there are physical copies for sale at Rough Trade Records while you're there be sure to go visit the legendary Rockefella Center and take in the sights of the gorgeous Christmas set up the do each year!
